Reflection

What would change if you truly believed the Father is for you?

Today's Scripture

1 John 4:17
"As He is, so are we in this world."

Devotional

Jesus never lived as though the Father was distant, unwilling, or limited. He lived from complete confidence in who the Father was. He rested during storms. He multiplied provision. He spoke healing. He raised the dead. He didn't respond to life from fear because He knew who He was and who His Father was.

Scripture says, "As He is, so are we in this world." That doesn't mean we become God. It means that through Christ, we are invited to live from union with Him. His Spirit is in us. His Word is available to us. His authority has been given to believers. His life is working through us.

That truth should change how we face our lives. We don't have to approach every problem as if we're alone. We don't have to live afraid of lack, sickness, failure, or the future. We can face real situations with real faith because we belong to a real Father.

Living like the Father's child means you begin to expect His goodness. You trust His provision. You look to His Word before fear has a chance to write the story.

You may still have battles. You may still have days that stretch your faith. But you are not facing them as a slave trying to survive. You are walking through them as a child of God with access, authority, and inheritance.

Your Father is not against you. He is with you.

Application

Remind yourself today, "I am a child of God, and my Father is for me."

Prayer

Father, help me live with the confidence, peace, and authority that comes from belonging to You.
