Reflection

Do you pray with confidence or uncertainty?

Today's Scripture

John 14:13
"Whatever you ask in my name, that I will do."

Devotional

Many people feel frustrated in prayer because they don't see results. They wonder if they're saying the right things or if God is really hearing them. But Jesus made something very clear. When you pray in His name, you can have confidence.

Praying in the name of Jesus is not just a phrase you add at the end. It's a position. It means you're praying from His victory, not your struggle. Everything Jesus accomplished through the cross stands behind your prayer.

When you begin to understand that, it changes how you pray. You stop approaching God unsure and start approaching Him with confidence. You're not trying to convince Him to move. You're standing on what He's already done.

Application

When you pray today, remind yourself that you're praying from Jesus' victory, not your situation.

Prayer

Father, help me pray with confidence, knowing that I carry the authority of Jesus in every situation.
