Receive the Favor of God

Do you live like God's favor is something you must earn, or something you can receive?
Today's Scripture
Mark 11:24
“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Devotional
Favor is a gift. And gifts must be received. Many believers believe favor exists, but they live like it belongs to someone else. They assume it is reserved for the most spiritual or the most disciplined.
God's favor is not based on how you perform or what you achieve. It is based on Jesus Christ alone. When you understand that truth, striving begins to disappear. You stop chasing outcomes and start trusting the presence of God in your life.
When your heart is filled with that truth, your mouth begins to speak it. Scripture says that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Favor is not something you beg God for. Favor is something you receive and agree with.
Application
Say this three times today: “I believe it, and I receive it. The favor of God is on my life.”
Prayer
Father, I receive the favor that Jesus purchased for me. Let Your favor be active in every area of my life.
