The Lord Is With You

God's Favor Doesn't Expire

Reflection

Where are you tempted to believe that waiting means you missed God's favor?

Today's Scripture

Genesis 41:1
“When two full years had passed...”

Devotional

Joseph remained faithful even when his life felt delayed. He served others and used the gifts God gave him. Yet after helping people, he was forgotten for two full years.

Waiting can make you feel like something has gone wrong. The enemy will whisper that delay means denial. It can feel like the promise is slipping further away.

But Joseph's story shows that favor does not expire in the waiting. At the right moment everything changed. One day he went from prison to the palace. Favor carried him into the purpose God had for his life.

Application

Think of one area where you have been discouraged by waiting. Pray this today: “Father, I trust Your timing. Your favor is still working in my life.”

Prayer

Lord, strengthen me during seasons of waiting. Help me trust that Your favor is still moving even when I cannot see it.
