Do you ever feel like you are in favor one day and out of favor the next?

Today's Scripture

Romans 5:2
“Through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.”

Devotional

Many believers quietly live as if God's favor comes and goes. It can feel like you are good when you have been doing well, but out when you have struggled or made mistakes. That is not how the new covenant works.

God's favor is not something you earn. It is something you stand in. It is your position in Christ. Favor is not a reward for good behavior. Favor is the result of being in Jesus. Striving becomes exhausting because it tries to earn what Jesus has already given.

The enemy loves performance thinking. Do more. Prove more. Try harder. But God invites you into rest. Receive what I have already poured out. You do not move in and out of the favor of God. You carry it every day, in every season, everywhere you go.
