Carried All the Way
Reflection
Where do you need to receive God’s favor instead of trying to force things open?
Today’s Scripture
Mark 11:24
"Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."
Devotional
Favor is not something we force. It is something we receive.
Joseph’s story shows favor carrying him all the way to purpose. He did not manipulate his way into the palace. He did not strive his way into Pharaoh’s court. God’s presence was with him, God’s gift was working in him, and at the appointed time, favor opened the door.
That same truth applies to our lives. There are places where human striving can only go so far. We can plan, prepare, work, and obey, but favor is what brings the right connections, the right timing, the right opportunity, and the right open door.
Receiving favor does not mean becoming passive. It means praying with faith and living with confidence that God is with you. It means believing that His goodness is not occasional or far away. It is already on your life in Christ.
Sometimes favor looks like a door opening before you ever had to knock. Sometimes it looks like the right person seeing what others missed. Sometimes it looks like peace, provision, or direction arriving at exactly the right moment.
You do not have to chase what God has already placed on your life. You can believe, receive, and walk forward in trust.
Favor is not behind you. It is with you, carrying you into what God has prepared.
