Letting Go of Old Images

Letting Go of Old Images

Reflection

What past experiences are still shaping how you see yourself?

Today's Scripture

Psalm 139:14
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

Devotional

Many of the images you carry didn't start with you. They were formed through experiences, words spoken over you, or moments of failure. Over time, those things created a picture that feels normal, even if it's not true.

But God offers a different picture. He calls you fearfully and wonderfully made. That means your identity isn't based on what you've been through. It's based on what He says about you.

You have to choose to agree with God. You have to speak it and see it until your soul accepts it as truth. When that happens, those old images begin to lose their hold on your life.

Application

Speak Psalm 139:14 over yourself today and choose to believe it.

Prayer

Lord, help me release every false image and fully receive who You say I am.
