Reflection

Are there areas where you are free in Christ but still limited in your thinking?

Today's Scripture

Romans 12:2
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Devotional

When you become a believer, something incredible happens instantly. You are forgiven, redeemed, and made new in Christ.

But while salvation happens in a moment, renewing the mind is a process. We bring old ways of thinking with us into our new life with Christ. Thoughts shaped by fear, pressure, insecurity, or past experiences don’t disappear overnight.

That’s why Scripture tells us not to conform to the pattern of this world. The world operates from fear, striving, and trying to control everything on our own. But God invites us into transformation through the renewal of our minds.

You can be completely free in Christ and still think like you're bound. But as your mind begins to change, your life begins to reflect the freedom you already have in Him. God’s goal is not just to save you — He wants to transform the way you think.

Application

Identify one area where fear or limitation has shaped your thinking. Ask God to begin renewing your mind in that area.

Prayer

Father, thank You for the freedom I have in Christ. Help me renew my thinking so my life reflects the truth of who I am in You.
