It’s Still Being Developed

It’s Still Being Developed

Reflection

Have you become discouraged because you don’t see results yet?

Today’s Scripture

Galatians 6:9
"Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest."

Devotional

Years ago, before cell phones took instant pictures, cameras used film. You’d take the picture, but you couldn’t see it immediately. The film had to go through development first. Just because you couldn’t hold the picture yet didn’t mean it wasn’t real.

Faith works a lot like that.

Sometimes God gives you a promise, a vision, or a picture in your heart, but then nothing changes right away. That waiting season can feel discouraging if you aren’t careful. You start wondering if you heard God correctly or if anything is actually happening.

But just because you can’t see the finished result yet doesn’t mean God isn’t working. Some things are still being developed.

The enemy wants you to give up in the middle of the process. He wants you to assume silence means failure. But often, God is working beneath the surface in ways you can’t yet see.

Your job isn’t to force the outcome. Your job is to keep believing the picture God placed in your heart. Keep meditating on His promises. Keep expecting breakthrough. Keep refusing to let fear rewrite the vision.

Development takes time, but what God promises will eventually come into view.

Application

Don’t abandon the promise just because the process is taking time.

Prayer

Lord, help me trust You while the promise is still developing in my life.
