You Just Can’t See It Yet
Reflection
What would change in your attitude today if you truly believed God is already at work, even before you can see it?
Key Scripture
2 Corinthians 4:18
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
Devotional
One of the enemy’s favorite lies is that if you can’t see it, it isn’t happening. He wants you to measure God’s faithfulness only by what appears obvious in the moment. But Scripture teaches us to see differently. There are things happening in the unseen realm that are just as real as what stands in front of you. God can be arranging, healing, strengthening, shifting, and preparing long before the breakthrough becomes visible. The fact that you can’t see it yet doesn’t mean it’s not already underway.
So much discouragement comes from drawing conclusions too early. We look at a situation mid-process and call it dead, delayed, or hopeless. But God is not limited to your current snapshot. He sees the full picture. He sees what His promise is producing in secret. He sees the connections being formed, the healing being worked, the growth taking place, and the answer moving closer. Faith doesn’t deny the present. It refuses to make the present the final word. It keeps room in the heart for what God is still doing.
Today, let hope rise again. Refuse to quit just because the evidence hasn’t surfaced yet. Keep your eyes on the One who sees the end from the beginning. Keep declaring His goodness. Keep expecting movement. Keep giving thanks before the manifestation. You just can’t see it yet. That’s all. Yet is not a denial. Yet is a reminder that the story is still unfolding, and God is still in it. What is unseen today can become visible tomorrow, and when it does, you’ll know He was working all along.
Application
Replace one discouraging conclusion today with the simple confession: “God is working, even if I can’t see it yet.”
Prayer
Father, lift my eyes above what is temporary and help me trust what You are doing in the unseen. Renew my hope and teach me to expect Your faithfulness. Amen.
