Reflection

What have you been filling your mind and heart with lately?

Today’s Scripture

Ephesians 3:19
"...that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."

Devotional

There’s a difference between barely getting by spiritually and living full of God’s presence. Fullness changes the way we handle pressure, fear, and difficult situations. When you’re full of the Word and full of God’s presence, you don’t respond to challenges the same way anymore.

Think about a huge Thanksgiving meal. Afterward, nobody’s searching for more food because they’re satisfied. Spiritually, fullness works the same way. When you’re full of fear, anxiety usually takes over your thinking. But when you’re full of the Word of God, fear doesn’t have room to settle in your heart.

That doesn’t mean difficult situations disappear. In this week's message, Pastor Kelli openly shared her experience of walking through her husband’s health battle while still standing in faith every single day. She explained that fullness doesn’t mean denial. It means knowing God’s promises are greater than what you currently see.

A person who is full of God’s truth may still face storms, but they don’t collapse under pressure as easily because their foundation is stronger. They’ve spent time in God’s presence. They’ve built themselves up in faith. They know how to respond when fear tries to enter.

The enemy may knock on the door of your mind, but fullness keeps him from moving in and taking over.

Application

Spend time today filling your heart with God’s Word before filling your mind with everything else.

Prayer

Lord, fill me with Your presence and help me stay grounded in Your truth no matter what I face.
