Are you willing to obey God even when it doesn't make sense?

Today's Scripture

Luke 5:5-6
"Because you say so, I will let down the nets."

Devotional

Peter was just going about his normal day when Jesus stepped into his situation. Nothing about that moment seemed extraordinary at first. But everything changed when Peter chose to respond with obedience.

When Jesus told him to let down the nets again, it didn't make logical sense. Peter had already tried. But he chose to trust Jesus anyway. That simple act of obedience turned an ordinary moment into something extraordinary.

Sometimes the breakthrough you're looking for is on the other side of obedience. God doesn't always ask for perfect understanding. He asks for trust. When you respond, you position yourself for Him to move in ways you couldn't create on your own.

Application

If God prompts you to do something today, respond with obedience even if it doesn't make sense.

Prayer

Lord, help me trust You enough to obey, even when I don't fully understand. Teach me to respond quickly to Your voice.
