Growing Into Favor

Are you allowing yourself to grow, or expecting everything to happen instantly?

Today's Scripture

Luke 2:52
"And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man."

Devotional

Even Jesus grew. That simple truth shifts how we think about our own lives. We often expect everything to come together quickly, but growth takes time. There are seasons where you're learning, developing, and becoming who God created you to be.

Favor isn't always instant visibility or immediate results. Sometimes favor looks like growth happening beneath the surface. You're gaining wisdom, building character, and being prepared for what you haven't stepped into yet.

If Jesus had a process, then we will too. That doesn't mean you're behind or that something is wrong. It means God is working in you. Growth is not a delay. It's preparation for impact.

Application

Give yourself permission today to grow and trust that God is developing you for what's ahead.

Prayer

Lord, help me embrace the process and trust that You are growing me into everything You've called me to be.
