Devotional
The Bible describes God's favor as something that surrounds us like a shield. That's a powerful picture. It means God's goodness isn't just inside you through His Spirit. It also surrounds your life.
Many people think favor means life will be free of challenges. But Scripture shows something different. Favor doesn't remove every battle. Instead, it protects you as you walk through those battles. God's presence surrounds you and guides you in ways you may not even notice yet.
When you carry the presence of God, His favor goes with you everywhere you go. It goes into your workplace, your relationships, and the decisions you make. God is actively working on your behalf, often before you even see the results. His favor moves ahead of you in ways you may not fully understand yet.
Application
Before stepping into something new today, thank God that His favor is already going before you.
Prayer
Father, thank You for surrounding my life with Your favor and protection. Help me walk forward with confidence in Your presence.
