Today's Scripture

Joshua 6:2
"See, I have given Jericho into your hands."

Devotional

Before the walls of Jericho ever fell, God told Joshua to see something different. The city was still fortified. The walls were still standing. Nothing had changed in the natural. But God spoke as if the victory had already been given.

That is how faith operates. It does not wait for visible change before believing. It sees the outcome based on what God has said, not based on what is currently happening. Joshua had to decide. Would he focus on what he saw, or would he focus on what God said?

You face that same decision. Every situation presents two pictures. One is based on what is visible. The other is based on God’s Word. The one you choose to focus on will shape your expectation.

When you begin to see victory before it happens, you position yourself to step into it. Faith prepares you internally before anything shifts externally.

Application

Choose to see your situation today the way God says it is, not just how it looks.

Prayer

Lord, help me see victory before I see change and trust what You've already said.
